Latest Lawsuit Update (November 2, 2005)

Capella's illustrious Dream Team's responses only get more hilarious with each rendition. Here's our response to their latest nonsense:

Because Capella's antics only continue to get more humorous with the passage of time, we've had to create some new pages on this site just to contain all of their garbage; these include:

• Liars and Perjurers - This quaint little page discusses notable individuals (including some of those at Capella) who simply can't stop lying. We're sure you'll enjoy this one!
• Capella's Dream Team - Bloopers, blunders, whines, and other nonsense made by Capella's legal counsel. Other highlights include:
  • Capella's attorneys (H. Christian L'Orange and Stella Fey Epling) have already been threatened with sanctions for failing to abide by the court's rules! Heck, this happened with their very first response to the court! Not off to a very good start. Oh well. . .
• Has one of Capella's attorney's, Stella Fey Epling, committed perjury? Take a look at the evidence we've posted and decide for yourself!
• Childish Games - Sometimes, it's necessary to have some fun - you'll find a lot of it on this page! We're aware that there are certain individuals at Capella who are capable of counting up to six (hey, they need to use fingers on two hands to do that!) so we've created some fun games in honor of Capella's latest response - it's called, "Count the Liars!" Just to add a little excitement, we also have three versions:
  • Michael Offerman is a liar.
  • Greg Thom is liar.
  • Karen Viechnicki is a liar.
• Capella's unholy alliance with the University of California, Irvine. Visitors will want to come back often to view this portion of the site as it's now scheduled for significant grow. For now, we urge all UCI students to do their homework before enrolling at Capella University - Caveat Emptor!

Some highlights of Capella's latest nonsense includes (sorry, but there is so much garbage in it that there are simply not enough electrons available on the Internet to hold it all):

• Capella doesn't like the fact that it has been pointed out that their Vice President and Chief Shyster, Greg Thom, is a liar. Regardless of what they want others to believe, the fact is Greg Thom is a liar. Period.
• Capella's feeble President (and chief liar), Michael Offerman, whines about the fact we've pointed out the threats he made to an instructor that was noted in another lawsuit. That lawsuit is mentioned on the page we created just for that incident. Of course, Capella was also TOO STUPID to note the actual content of what we've reported - they're too busy taking things out of context (we suspect that they are also lack adequate reading comprehension skills) to truthfully report what was said.
• Gary Matkin, the Dean of Education Extension, has shown his true colors (again) in helping his buddy, Michael Offerman. We'll soon be reporting a lot more on Gary Matkin his relationships with his buddy, Offerman. (We already have a page established for them.) We urge all students taking extension courses at the University of California, Irvine to ask a LOT of questions before enrolling at Capella. For starters, be sure to ask:
  • Why did Capella pay UCI $40,000 to develop six classes?
  • Why does Capella University pay $500 to UCI for each student that enrolls?
  • Why does Michael Offerman write letters of recommendations for Gary Matkin - especially in light of their business dealings?
  • Why does Gary Matkin ignore legitmate complaints regarding students who are abused at Capella (hmmm...could it be because his buddy, Mikey, writes letters of recommendations for him and also helps build UCI's coffers?)
  • Why does Gary Matkin have such a BIG MOUTH? Matkin turns documents regarding the vile actions of Capella University directly over to Offerman.
  • Why has a complaint been filed against the University of California for their refusal to turn over documents under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act? (FERPA)
  • Ask UCI what records they share with Capella University and vice versa!
  Oh, there is simply so much more but, like we said, there are simply not enough electrons available to post all of Capella's ilk - we wouldn't want the Internet to crash because of Capella's hilarious and utterly absurd nonsense overwhelms the Earth's servers! Rest assured though, we'll certainly be posting a LOT more regarding the UCI scandal in the near future.
